KLM is about to celebrate its 90 years from its first flight that took place 17th May 1920 from Amsterdam to London. KLM before its merger with Air France was the national carrier of Holland. Today, it is a member of the large family SkyTeam and offers flights to more than 65 countries.

With a well-trained fleet that mainly consists of new Airbus and Boeing planes, the millions of passengers that choose KLM to travel feel the safety and the certainty of their choice. The relatively new chairman of the company, Peter Hartman, has a goal to offer air tickets at great prices while the company’s flights distinguish for their luxury. A great deal of emphasis is given to the World Business Class and the “Royal Company of Air Transport” passes its daily exams and does extremely well.

The Dutch air company shows its social profile by following a correct environmental policy and by investing large sums of money for this purpose. However the company’s expenses are replaced by the increase on air ticket sales.
