From Greece there are direct flights to Frankfurt, leaving from Athens and Thessaloniki, the schedules are operated by Aegean Airlines and Lufthansa. From other Greek cities (Heraklion, Chania, Rhodes, Corfu, Ioannina, Alexandroupolis) there are connecting flights via Athens and Thessaloniki. Frankfurt International Airport
Frankfurt International Airport is located 12 kilometres
from the city’s centre and has 2 terminals that are connected by Sky line train whose
route among the terminals lasts only a few minutes. There are also some buses that
connect the terminals but the train is definitely more convenient. Frankfurt International
Airport serves innumerable international flights and welcomes thousands of travelers
and visitors on a daily basis. The airport is connected to Frankfurt with various
means of public transport that have frequent schedules.
Train
From the airport’s train station there is a service every 15 minutes to the centre of Frankfurt and other central areas of the city. The terminal of the trains is Hauptbahnhof central train station and the journey lasts 10 minutes. The airport’s train station is situated near terminal 1. Tickets can be purchased from various ticket vendors inside the station.
Bus
There are bus stops at Frankfurt International Airport that have services to the
city centre and other destinations and are located outside the airport’s terminals.

There are always available taxis outside the airport. The journey to the centre of
Frankfurt lasts 30 minutes and it can cost from 20€ to 30€.
Frankfurt Hahn Airport
Hahn Airport is located 110 kilometres from central Frankfurt. Although it is a small
airport it is convenient enough. It is located far from the city’s centre, but there
are bus schedules and available taxi to transfer you from Hahn airport to your final
destination.
Bus
There are some private couches (Bohr) from Hahn airport to central Frankfurt and they operate daily from 06:15 until 00:30 every 60 minutes during the day and every 90 minutes at night. These couches also make a stop at Frankfurt International Airport and continue their route to the centre of the city. The journey lasts 1 hour and 45 minutes and the ticket costs 12€.
Taxi
Taxis are always available at Hahn airport although the journey can be quite expensive since the distance from the airport the city’s centre is big.
