In the city the streets are noisy and busy and at the same time Bangkok is famous for its intense night life and the different forms of entertainment it offers to the locals and the visitors. Bangkok is certainly a different city, a city that does not look like another and you should not miss the opportunity to visit it. So do not hesitate, book now a cheap flight and visit the city with the splendid hotels, the department stores and the enchanting temples and palaces.
How to get there
From Greece and Cyprus there are not direct flights to Bangkok, the best choice is a connecting flight through European and Asian cities. The airlines that carry out flights from Greece and Cyprus to Bangkok are: Emirates, Qatar Airways, Etihad Airways, Egypt Air, Turkish Airlines, Swiss, Lufthansa, KLM, SAS and Singapore more specifically:

When making plans for a holiday trip to Bangkok it is better to make a reservation as soon as possible in order to find cheaper air tickets. Many airlines promote cheap flights and announce special air ticket offers for reservations made 1 or 2 months prior the departure.

International Airport Suvarnabhum (IATA: BKK)
The International Airport Suvarnabhumi of Bangkok, which is located 24 kilometers from the center of the city, is a modern airport that has Asian restaurants, storage areas, information desks, banks, exchange offices and of course ticket desks for flight tickets. The airport’s premises are connected via a free of charge Express Bus and there are also many means of public transport in order to reach the center of Bangkok.
Trains
The railway station at the airport of Bangkok is situated, within walking distance,
across the terminals. The Express Train has a service from the airport to Bangkok,
the journey lasts 30 minutes and the ticket costs 100 baht (2.50 €). The regular
trains have the same service but it takes longer to reach the city although they
are much cheaper.
Buses
The public buses depart from the airport and travel to the center of the city
and other regions every 20 minutes. You can board a bus at level 1 (arrivals). Unfortunately
the public buses are quite old but they only cost 5 baht (0.15€). There are of course
newer buses that are a little more expensive. The Airport Express, has a comfortable
journey to various hotels in Bangkok, it operates from 05:00 in the morning until
midnight and it costs 150 baht (4€). The journey from the Airport to Bangkok lasts
50 minutes.
Taxi
At the airport’s exit there are many taxis but do not neglect to negotiate the
price before boarding the vehicle. The journey by taxi from the airport to the centre
of Bangkok can cost 500 baht (14€) and if there is no traffic you might reach your
